Broken / Chipped Teeth

Broken / Chipped Teeth

Although the enamel that protects our teeth is extremely strong, our teeth can still become cracked or chipped during day to day life. Sports injuries, accidents, teeth grinding or even biting into hard foods can cause teeth to chip or crack.

Broken or chipped teeth may not cause immediate pain, but if the break has travelled near the nerve, you may notice pain when chewing food or have a sensitivity to hot or cold substances.
