Welcoming new practitioner Rachel Mulholland to Spires Oral and Dermal Care!
Rachel graduated in 2017 from Queen’s University Belfast (BDS) having previously attended Anahorish Primary School and then St. Mary’s Grammar School. Following graduation, Rachel moved to Edinburgh for further post-graduate training, where she gained a wide variety of experience in all aspects of general dentistry. Whilst in Edinburgh, Rachel followed her passion for facial aesthetics and completed a Botulinum and Dermal Filler Course, in addition to an advanced Lip and Perioral Masterclass. Rachel has recently returned home and is delighted to have been offered a position in Spires Oral & Dermal Care, where she will be joining the professional and dedicated team of dental practitioners.
Rachel is fully committed to establishing and developing strong links and a professional rapport with her patients and is keen that her patients take an active role in all aspects of their own treatment planning. She has a particular interest in preventative and cosmetic dentistry, providing an extensive range of minimally invasive treatments, such as teeth whitening, composite bonding and veneers. Rachel will be providing treatment to enhance and change the shape, size and colour of the teeth to ensure that patient’s leave confident with a perfect smile. Rachel can offer a discreet and personalised choice of non-surgical facial rejuvenation treatments. She will be providing wrinkle reduction treatments using botulinum toxin and dermal filler injections to smooth wrinkles, plump up the skin by adding volume and replacing lost collagen due to the natural ageing process. She has particular interest in lip augmentation, providing treatment to improve contour and definition, as well as volume enhancement. Rachel is a strong believer that non-surgical facial treatments are a natural way to enhance the patient’s beauty and to give renewed confidence in ones appearance and subsequently boosting their self-esteem. Rachel is enthused to be joining the modern, relaxed practice of Spires Oral & Dermal Care, which has been designed to make the patient feel comfortable and at ease. She will be providing NHS and private dental treatments for adults and children in all aspects of dental care as well as a range of non-surgical facial rejuvenation treatments. She is dedicated to providing a holistic, professional high quality service, where the needs of her patients come first and foremost. Rachel is now available to take appointments for advice or treatment consultations.
Dr. Anne Gormley is a highly experienced dentist who has been practising for over 30 years after graduating from Newcastle-Upon-Tyne School of Dental Sciences in 1991. She is also a facial aesthetic clinician, having obtained the Level 7 PGCert in Non-surgical Facial Aesthetics in 2019 from Northumbria University. She received her MFGDP(UK) qualification in 1996 from the Royal College of Surgeons, completed an Open University module in Paediatric Dentistry from Bristol University and finished a one-year part-time course in implant surgery and prosthetics. Dr. Anne has worked in the Restorative Department of the Royal Victoria Hospital and the Orthodontic Department in the Waveney Hospital.
Dr. Anne specialises in cosmetic dentistry, with a particular interest in Align, Bleach, Bond (ABB). This technique involves straightening the teeth using Invisalign, followed by teeth whitening treatments and composite bonding and veneers. She loves enhancing facial features with non-surgical aesthetic treatments such as dermal fillers, botulinum toxins (also known as “Botox”) and Profhilo. In addition, Dr. Anne also specialises in crown, bridgework and ceramic veneers.
