What is Composite Bonding?
Composite bonding can both strengthen & whiten teeth, resulting in an ideal smile without painful drills or expensive crowns.
Composite Bonding is a safe, effective, and predictable method for treating the tooth with a tooth coloured filling material that no one can see, leaving you with a bright, confident smile.
What’s the procedure?
The treatment at Spires Oral & Dermal Care is non-invasive. It’s simple, straight-forward and produces amazing results.
- Removing any decay from your tooth and smoothing its surface.
- Applying an etching solution to help adhesion between the material used for bonding and your tooth enamel.
- Applying the composite resin material with a special brush or spatula, then cure with a light source.
We offer composite bonding treatments that will fill in the gaps and give your teeth a brand-new look at a fraction of the cost of other methods. You won’t have to worry about waiting weeks for your dentist to fit you into their schedule or about going under the knife with surgery, just one visit to our dental practice is all it takes!

FAQ
Does bonding ruin your teeth?
It’s a common misconception that bonding ruins your teeth. When performed by a qualified dentist or dental specialist, bonding can help protect and repair the tooth structure.
Does composite bonding hurt?
Composite bonding is a painless process. The only discomfort you may experience is a slight pressure or tingling when the adhesive is applied. Some patients also report feeling a pinch or pulling sensation as the composite is applied, but this is temporary and should not last more than a few minutes.
And how long does composite bonding last?
Composite bonding can last anywhere from 1 to 5 years, depending on your oral hygiene habits, the health of your mouth, and how often you eat and drink. The bond will weaken when you eat and drink, but it is not permanent.
