Dr Anne Gormley
Anne Gormley graduated with a BDS from Newcastle Upon Tyne 1991 and obtained a MFGDP(UK) from the Royal College of Surgeons in 1996. More recently Anne qualified with a PGCert in Non-Surgical Facial Aesthetics from Northumbria University and is certified to perform Invisalign Go orthodontics. She has completed a courses in placing dental implants.
Anne now specialises in facial rejuvenation in conjunction with cosmetic dentistry. She focuses on aligning and brightening the teeth, along with contouring the cheeks, shaping the chin and defining the lips with dermal fillers. She uses composite bonding techniques to change the shape of the teeth. The overall result can have a life changing effect on our self-esteem and confidence
Anne maintains and drives the ethos of continued development and improvement throughout the practice.
- Worked for 8 years as Clinical supervisor in restorative and cosmetic dentistry in the Royal Victoria Hospital excelling in advanced crown and bridgework
- Clinical attachment in the Waveney / Mid Ulster Hospital in orthodontics
- MFGDP (UK) qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons
- Bristol Open University Module in paediatric dentistry
- Completed a part-time course (1 year) on surgical and prosthetic interactive implantology
- N.I.C.P.I.P. research project which investigated the effect of Duraphat varnish on 2- 4 year old children over a 3 year period
- Has completed a postgraduate certificate on facial aesthetics ( Level 7)
- Accreditation for Invisalign GO & Approved Provider
The JCCP (Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners) has been established to assist members of the public who are seeking/considering or undergoing non-surgical treatments (Injections, Fillers) with advice on patient safety matters and how to gain access to registers of approved practitioners.
New regulation in the UK states that any facial aesthetic work cannot be carried out without this certification. She is currently studying in Northumbria University which is one of only two universities in the UK which is currently accredited with JCCP.
This allows our clients to feel at ease in the hands of our professionals here at Spires Oral Care, knowing that we have the highest training available in the UK to perform these treatments.
Rachel graduated with a BDS from Queen’s University Belfast in 2017. Following graduation, Rachel moved to Edinburgh for further post graduate training, where she gained a wide variety of experience in all aspects of general dentistry and has developed a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry.
Rachel is fully committed to establishing and developing strong links and a professional rapport with her patients and is keen that the patient takes an active part in their treatment planning.
Rachel has a particular interest in Facial Aesthetics and has completed courses on the treatment of fine lines & wrinkles and dermal fillers. She is dedicated to providing a holistic, professional quality service where the needs of her patients come first.
