What's the procedure?

Dental implants are usually made from an inert material called titanium. The artificial replacement is placed directly into the jawbone, the bone grows to fit around the implant, holding it in place. After an appropriate interval, an impression will be taken, and after several weeks an abutment post and crown / bridge will be inserted.

How long does it take?

The treatment takes approximately seven months from the extraction of the tooth in most cases although this may vary from case to case. Usually the patient will require four visits during this time.
